Seasons Festival and Blueprint are proud to continue our charitable efforts this year towards the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. With every ticket sold throughout Seasons Festival, we will be donating $1 directly to the GVFB. Through our charitable initiatives last year, Seasons Festival was able to donate over $14,000 towards the GVFB and strives to overpass this goal with your help. The GVFB provides assistance to over 26,500 people weekly in their mission to provide accessible, healthy, sustainable food for all.
Feed The People focuses their efforts towards the Downtown Eastside through sandwich and perishable food distribution , all driven by volunteers who find importance on giving back to the community. On Saturday, April 15th, Seasons Festival and Feed The People encourage festival attendees to sign up for a special day of giving back to the community. We will be making and distributing sandwiches to those in need, starting off at The Charles Bar from 11am - 2pm and distributing at around the DTES and dropping in at our pop-up soup kitchen at Oppenheimer Park from 2pm - 5pm.
The Music Heals Charitable Foundation was formed to help raise awareness of the healing powers of Music and to help fundraise for Music Therapy and related services across Canada. In just three years they have donated nearly a half million dollars to programs serving children, seniors, palliative care, burn units, autism, dementia, rehabilitation, and more. Their mission is to support a wide range of music therapy services to communities across Canada by providing ongoing funding for those agencies that develop and use music therapy.
